  Why Choose St. John's?
Welcome to
St. John's Lutheran School!
St. John's has a rich history. St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church and School was founded on April 18, 1864. Today we remain as committed as ever to teaching the true Word of God, Lutheran doctrine, and providing the highest quality academics to our students. Our staff is well-trained, dedicated, and spiritually motivated. With fantastic parental and volunteer support, our school of over 200 students in pre-K through 8th grade, is accredited nationally by National Lutheran School Accreditatio(NLSA).  Our students consistently show above-average scores (both statewide and nationally) on national standardized tests. We welcome you to browse our web pages and learn more about us. Thanks for visiting our website, and we look forward to meeting you!

    Our Mission and Philosophy
  • The mission of St. John's Lutheran School shall be to nurture young people through God's Word, sound Lutheran doctrine and worship practice, and a strong academic foundation so that they might be better equipped to lead their lives as God's baptized children in this world wherever He puts them and also be equipped to carry out Christ's command to "make disciples of all nations".

    (Matthew 28:19)
"Learning and Living as God's Baptized Children"

All who have been brought to faith in Jesus Christ are commissioned by Him to preserve and extend the Kingdom of God. This becomes a corporate responsibility of all members when Christians gather as a congregation.
